Dave Bryant performing at Outpost 186 in Cambridge, MA
Best known for his decade-long stint with Ornette Coleman’s Prime Time band, keyboardist and composer Dave Bryant now teaches and performs in the Boston area.
Since early 2009, he has been producing and performing in a monthly concert series at Outpost 186 in Cambridge, MA, featuring some long-time musical associates and special guests. Recent guest performers have included renowned tabla master Badal Roy and guitarists Bern Nix and Kenny Wessel, all veterans of Prime Time.
Dave’s album “The Eternal Hang,” recorded by legendary Steely Dan engineer Roger (“The Immortal”) Nichols, has received rave reviews in major music publications. You can read some of them in the “Press” page of this site.
